Audience measurement
Optional Google Analytics helps us understand use of Tero’s website and application. It loads only after you choose Accept analytics. Rejecting analytics does not affect the service. Use Privacy preferences in the footer or Settings to change your choice.
What is measured
After acceptance, Google Analytics receives page views and predefined navigation, button, blog filter and pagination events. Enquiry-success events are sent only after our server confirms success. Google also processes technical browser and network information needed for its analytics service. Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control disables our optional analytics.
Page locations and titles use predefined categories. Article and customer-detail routes are grouped instead of sending record IDs. We exclude URL queries, fragments and full referring URLs. Staging measurements are labelled separately from production and include diagnostic traffic.
What is kept out
We do not send names, emails, form contents, passwords, credentials, customer identifiers, infrastructure details, security evidence or investigation notes. We do not set Google Analytics User-ID or link analytics to authentication, CRM or billing records. Advertising features, Google Signals and session recording are not enabled.
Storage and retention
After acceptance, analytics is sent to Google and uses pseudonymous browser cookies. We configure analytics cookies for 30 days without rolling renewal. Withdrawing consent stops our analytics collection and removes these cookies; it does not delete records already sent to Google. Google Analytics property settings govern the retention of those records. Read Google’s Privacy Policy.
We remember your analytics choice in browser storage. This preference is separate from account authentication and marketing consent. Historical first-party aggregate records remain in Tero’s protected storage under their existing 30-day retention. New first-party collection is disabled in deployments using Google Analytics. Ordinary hosting and security request processing remains separate.
